It is the policy of SUNRISE BAPTIST CHURCH to remain open during most periods of inclement weather; however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, due to weather or other unforeseen interruption, the Decision-Making Team (Deacon Board and Pastoral Staff) may deem it necessary to close the facility or cancel church services. Should this occur, the congregation is encouraged to monitor our church website, church email announcements and Facebook posts during periods of adverse weather announced by our local weather forecast to find out if the church is open or closed on a given day.

Our church leaders (Decision-Making Team) will decide by 6:00 a.m. during periods of such inclement weather and communicate this via the website, church phone voicemail system and church electronic media, as well as signage on the facility. If you do not see any of these announcements, then the services/events will continue as planned.
